STEP ONE
Juneteenth reminds us that liberation doesn't come from a single moment. It comes from people refusing to be silenced, including the emancipation of the enslaved. And right now, that fight is happening in our communities, in the courts and at the ballot box.
Black voters and communities continue to face systematic efforts to dilute their voices — through gerrymandering and redistricting maps drawn to divide and diminish. Through voting restrictions that make it harder to show up. Through Supreme Court decisions that have rolled back hard-won protections, weakening the very tools designed to safeguard representation.
Our democracy is only as strong as the voices it includes. And Black voices MUST be centered.
Freedom isn't finished. Keep fighting. Keep voting. Keep organizing. Learn how you can take action with us this month: [LINK]
