STEP ONE
This month, we recognize the 60th anniversary of the #VotingRightsAct and the legacy of the Black civil rights activists who fought to make it a reality.
Since its passage which prohibited racial discrimination at the ballot box, extremist lawmakers and billionaires have continued trying to make it harder to make our voices heard — and we’re only seeing these attempts increase. This is a coordinated attack on the freedom to vote, and make no mistake: it targets Black, Brown, Indigenous, immigrant, low-income, young, and new voters the most.
At [STATE TABLE], we continue to fight for a reality where everyone's voices are heard and needs are met.
